HAVING PROBLEMS OR RECEIVING A BLACK SCREEN?
Make sure to update your video codec and LAV filters.
We use HEVC h265 video codec for our 4K videos. Most modern VR ready PCs can handle our VRP videos. But there are cases, where you might need to update your video codecs, to get the smoothest playback.
We recommend using k-lite codec pack. They’ve been around for a long time and always deliver very good video codecs.
Download K-Lite Codec Pack Full
Once installed, please open the ‘Codec Tweak Tool’. In the next window select ‘Preferred decoders’.
Once there for H.264 please, select in both columns ‘ffdshow’. If any issue happens, please try ‘LAV Video’ instead.
